Who am I

My name is Madyson Naumann.

You might be wondering—what qualifies me to coach your kids? Over the past few years, I’ve gained invaluable experience both on and off the ice. I had the opportunity to apprentice with the U15AA Pandas, working alongside former NHL players Jason Chimera and Dave Cooper. During the summers, I’ve also coached with Hockey Fit in St. Albert, helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence.

As a player, I’ve competed at the U18 AAA level for the past two seasons. In my first year, I was a full-time affiliate for the Edmonton Jr. Oilers. In 2023-2024, I played for the Jr. Oilers, where we won provincials and secured a third-place finish at the Esso Cup. This season, I played for the St. Albert Slash, making it to the gold medal final in playoffs and finishing third in Canada.

These past few years have been an incredible chapter in my career, filled with both team and individual achievements. I’ve been honored to receive:

  • The 2023 Matt Cook Memorial Award, recognizing perseverance, determination, leadership, and team spirit.

  • Most Valuable Player (2021-2022), as voted by my teammates, for upholding the values of my club as a leader and competitor.

  • Player of the Game (2022) at the Alberta Challenge.

Now, I’m passionate about giving back—helping the next generation of players push their limits, grow their confidence, and fall in love with the game.
